Peter Jennings replacement?
I heard something on bacground noise TV today that there was a potential controversial replacement, or rumor or something along those lines. Never heard anymore about it, and I am curious.

Anybody heard anything?

8. That's the sad part.
I'm wondering what happened to the true intelligent conservatives.

I disagree with George Will more often than not, but at least he can usually put forth a respectable argument in his defense.

Nowadays, it's all wingnuts -- empty slogans, flag waving and * worship have replaced the intelligent arguments that were once on their side.

4. Elizabeth Vargas and Bob Woodruff according one source
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 04:52 AM by JI7
but even that is a rumor so far.

they aren't exactly what i would call controversial though.

i think Anderson Cooper would be a good one since he is good when it comes to reporting on world events and that was very important to Peter.

9. Hope it's Elizabeth Vargas...
...high time one of the "Big Three" networks showed some diversity in the anchor chair.

In other news, YIKES! What's with all the deleted messages in this thread?
