OK. I sense a new distain for the Corpo Media.
What now?

You just witnessed the Consumer Cartoon Culture screw itself in California and apparently are happy with it (Gee that's what the folks see on TV so it must be true).

You witnessed CNN, Leno, Fox, et cetera, pump up Ahnold for weeks, did you really think it would have zero effect? Of course not.

Our pop culture has effectively absorbed our formerly strong news reporting like a doberman with a dress sock.

How do we twist it out of the slobbering mouth without getting bitten?

Do we buy them back, break them up, and make them independant? Sorry, but that's not going to happen, it won't.

What now? How do we defeat the ubiquitous idiot boxes?

1. Watch BBC and stay on the net...
Our media is absolutely polluted.

I don't even think CNN can be taken seriously anymore.

3. That's fine for you and I.
But there are millions of people, including children, who simply don't know any better and they're getting weaker and weaker intellectually...The boob tube certainly won't tell them that, how do we?

4. This is the key to winning and I don't know how
Arnie ran a campaign where he answered no questions and only gave sound bytes. He was always shown with adoring fans or with Maria. It was constant photo ops and THE PRESS ALLOWED HIM TO GET AWAY WITH IT. His campaign was very similar to *'s and the one the chimp plans to run. Flags waving, adoring fans, sound bytes and no specifics.

I think we have to find a candidate who can do the same or we will lose.

5. "we are in complete control of your television" . . .
"we control the horizontal; we control the vertical" . . .

sound familiar? . . . if only we had realized then just how true this would become . . .

we are definitely approaching the "Outer Limits" in America . . .

6. DNC should institute a civil suit against MSNBC/offering free air time for
for Aunold. They gave him so much free publicity that it has to violate some campaign law somewhere. Also, Nepotism. Because his wife is an employee of NBC this has to also qualify as some kind of violation of a federal election law.

This is the time for the DNC to crack down. MSNBC and to a certain extent CNN literally pushed Aunold in viewers faces, and the pundits gave more free air time to him by discussing him constantly.

I imagine some group is working on this now. We have them "red handed here" the Media. I think they overstepped and have "stepped in it." I wish I had clocked the time given to "Aunold" compared to Davis, Buistamonte and Huffington. But even to a causual cable view like myself, it was "over the top."

7. The Media that I blame....
CNN, FOX, MSGOP (the worst with Tweety), the local affiliates in California, the California papers, Oprah, and DAS Leno!

CBS, ABC, and to a lesser extent NBC were fair in their coverage!

10. Tweety and Imus were trying to deflect from themselves this am by
pounding their chests and throwing shit at the "hacks" of the LA Times and the "liberal media" for the "dirty tricks" of the groping charges and so on. What a joke.

They also agreed that Arnold's advisors are the heroes for not letting him do more than one debate and not letting him talk to the people because Imus said they are "scum."

Imus said he represents "nitwits" like him who just love all the entertainment value.

Clearly, they will never reverse or act rational in any way and will defiantly debase themselves and try to bring everyone down with them until the bitter end. Talk about scum.

9. And, the Media kept pumping Aunold all day yesterday with Tweety and CNN
out in California adding to the "Superbowl/Academy Awards" hype atmosphere. There should have been a BLACK OUT of coverage.
