Bypassing the RW Agenda

How to create a Leftist Enclave

We need our nation to get off of it's dependence on Corporatism and Hyper-Capitalism. Here's how to do it.

1. Make a network of Leftists and people who think Redistribution of Wealth is a good idea.
2. Establish a network with them.
3. Move this network close together such as in an Apartment Complex (not required)
4. Set up an account where you people share a small to moderate amount of their incomes or wealth equally

How to have a Gay Marriage, even in a State that outlaws Civil Unions

First off, you need 2 couples for this. 2 men and 2 women. BTW, a person at Daily Kos has said that this has been done.

Have 1 person from each couple marry the person of the other couple.

If I were Gay, this is not the way I'd want to be married, but at least I could be married.

What do you guys think? Could these be ways to bypass the Right Wing Revolution (AKA Civil Rights Rollback)?

Can we come up with more ways to bypass the Right's sinister plans?

1. Questions about your "scenarios"
By what mechanism will you fund the group account with the dynastic wealth/obscene cap gains of the ruling elite?

How does being married to a 3rd party (not ones partner) create marriage rights & benefits between a person and their partner (medical decisions, inheritance, joint tax returns)?

2. Look for loopholes.

They are there.

By set up an 'account', this is what it could be interpreted to mean:

Use a safe in someone's house that could be used as a 'community chest'.

Marriage to a 3rd party could work.

Does not a married person have the right to say "I want medical decisions to be dictated by someone else (the third party)"?

I also think that the bypass of the RW's Marriage Amendments would work better if the two couples also acted as an extended family.

3. Variation on distribution of wealth
Around here, folks barter and trade for what they need. My doctor even has a policy of "pay it forward"-if a person can't pay money for their bill, they can volunteer at a local non-profit, bring a letter from said non-profit detailing how many hours they worked, and have the hours credited to their account. I don't know the formula she uses to figure out how much each hour of work is worth, but having experienced this myself first hand, I know she is very fair about it. (Yes, she has created a non-profit foundation. She's in it for healing and helping folks, and not in it for the money.)
