You heard it here first. There's no way this administration is going to let him sit in front of an open microphone for months revealing every detail of his special relationship with the U.S. in the 70's and 80's.

11. under HER version of a x-tian gawd who claims that your sunroof
will come in handy when those specially selected 144,000 chosen few gather around a few sites and head upwards,

while, the rest of us rejoice at their leaving, so we can lead real lives from now on.

Remember when Talibani said "Saddam already confessed, so let's execute him"?

6. I see a heart attack in his future.
Unfortunately, he'll never get the opportunity to respond to the charges in court.

10. Nah - he's on trial for a vey specific affair
He won't be able to speak on just anything he wants to.

He'll be asked to defend himself against the one massacre he's on trial for. That's all he'll be allowed to say.

12. There was a fantastic documentary on
French television this week about the coming trial of Saddam.

Seems they'll be only using the charges where the US can't be implicated.

But the big thing was a comparison of videos of Saddam when he was indicted last year and his latest appearence where he seemed dulled and had lost his combativity. Drugs anyone!

The iraqui judge no longer seems worried about how Saddam will react in court.

14. No WMDs, Not much Al Qaeda, No Saddam crimes
What is the noble cause?

I always knew there was little if any Al Qaeda. The administration has had to concede there were no WMDS. So the last argument was that we had to go in because of Saddam's crimes against his people. I always believed he had done some really bad stuff, but now I'm beginning to doubt that. If they had anything really bad on him, I think they would have held up the evidence for all to see by now. It's the only thing that could even begin to redeem them in the opinion of the world. So, there failure to try Saddam causes me to conclude that the whole "Saddam is evil" accusations were as unfounded as the rest of their propaganda. The longer they wait to try him, the more doubtful I become as to whether the Bushies have anything on him.
