Experienced, knowledgable, careeer public servants...what's the use?
If i were a career state or Federal Congressperson or other elected official I would be feeling really down these days. It appears, that contrary to conservative misgivings and outright ranchor about affirmative action, experience, qualifications, intelligence, and dedication mean nothing in the realm of elected public servants. I would be dismayed about the election of 2000 and now the election of Arnie. I mean, afterall, nothing counts except what the media (owned and controlled by you know who) wants us to know and believe. You can't even get an honest debate going on TV. The media has closed ranks behind Rush and his hypocritical drug issues because Rush and his ilk (Hannity) serve the clandestine purpose of thwarting democracy and all that was ever good about America's mrukey history, making it look legitimate and decent. Rush, Hannity, and others on the major networks are the tools for undoing the American dream and turning it into a nightmare...for the millions of non-white, non-Christian inhabitants. This control gives free reign to the oligarchies around the world...there is little hope for humanity.
