Some of you all asked who I would give the death penalty too....
Here's an example:This Guy and his coward friend who took the easy way out. They are being profiled on biography right now. I would have given it to lake twice, once for the crime and the second for weasling out.

Charles Ng
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Charles Chitat Ng (born December 24, 1961) is a US Serial killer who committed his crimes with Leonard Lake. His second two names are pronounced 'Cheetah Ing'.

He was born to wealthy parents in Hong Kong and partly educated in England. As a child he was harshly disciplined by his father at every opportunity. Ng eventually moved to the USA and was briefly in the US Marines before he was dishonorably discharged for theft, for which he served time in prison. In the early 1980s he hooked up with Leonard Lake. The pair are suspected of murdering up to twenty-five people at Lake's ranch in California, mostly women who they filmed themselves raping and torturing.

The crimes came to light in 1985 when Lake committed suicide after being arrested for a firearms offence, and police searched his ranch and found human remains. Charles Ng fled to Canada where he was arrested and convicted of shoplifting. After a long extradition battle, Ng was finally handed over to the US authorities.

Ng stood trial on twelve counts of murder in 1998. He was convicted of eleven of the murders, those of six men, three women and two baby boys, and was sentenced to death. He is currently on death row.

For further details of the crime spree of Ng and Lake, see the entry for Leonard Lake.

1. The rationale of "because they deserve it" is identical ...
... to the rationale of most murderers. There is no moral difference. The idiotic notion that capital punishment would, somehow, be more reliable for those 'most deserving' is exactly the opposite of what happens. The more heinous the crime, the less well-considered and exacting the process. So it fails on both principles: (1) immoral (2) kills innocents.

5. Tahiti
You are WRONG. Most of us DO NOT DO what these criminals did.We have a CONSIENCE..THese criminals did not.So they lost their lives You cannot co exist in peace with a tyrant a rapist a pedophile or torturer to believe otherwise is enabling them.by standing.

Did you tahiti desire to rape and torture? if not YOU are not like these thugs. And so don't misidentify with them because YOU have a conscience.

10. If somebody doesn't HAVE a conscience you cannot punish
them for not having one.

If you were the murderer you would be like the murderer... for the grace of God (or whomever) you aren't.

Death penalty is WRONG. It accomplishes nothing and endangers innocent people.

Killing babies ist the most terrible thing somebody can do. Every sentiment boils at the mere thought. That's just the problem, though: Penalties should be meted out with absolut rational thinking. NOT with sentiments. Sentiments have absolutely no place here.

16. Did you ever stop to think
sentimernt is what lets criminals kill babies, sentiment for someone who cannot or will not care. Care has to be reciprocal to work in a social sense. If a criminal don't care I am under no obligation to care about him.
And yes I am squeamish about the state doing the death penalty because the state is often corrupted bigoted and don''t care..12 jurors aren't always that smart in making a judgement, they can be bought off or threatened and they can be bigots or starstruck if the criminal is famous.and they are impartial but also thier impartiality can be effected by THIER emotions.A victim of a crime knows what occured they were wounded that is why they fight..they should have a bigger voice and more rights. And in a perfect world tthere would be no victims becausde the sociopaths among us would have no culture to tolerate them being bullies so they don't do anything to anyone else because NO ONE BYSTANDS or covers for them anymore..

18. You cannot tell me my experinces have no place being said here
Aren't YOU the control freak!

You said
"If somebody doesn't HAVE a conscience you cannot punish" them for not having one.

And since I HAVE a consience why should those without a consience be allowed to punish ME or hurt others and be EXCUSED from facing the penalty of what they dished out because they lack a consience!!
Why should these pigs live another day?

I don't think of murdering or hurting people that are not hurting anyone. That means I am safe to exist around

But criminals they get off on hurting people that are not hurting anyone. That means THEy are NOT SAFE to exist around. And the criminal CHOSE to make his own life go this way..A criminal should be responsible for his choices, just like everyone else.If he makes bad choices maybe it's because he cannot be trusted around human beings that have a consience!!And if he gets out of jail and the courts are too easy, well whos fault is that,it's the moral relativists who make no moral distictions and refuse to judge.

13. There's no moral justification for killing - even hiding behind government
 It is precisely BECAUSE I have a conscience that I take this position. Surrendering responsibility for my own behavior to the acts of a murderer does not make it 'right.'

17. Pacifism is not always an act of conscience
Absolutism on your moral relativity about life is not always moral. The every sperm is sacred argument that fundies use to force pregnancy is the same thing applied to full grown assholes who don't care and feel no shame.
Some crimes and criminals do choose to forfeit their existence by the type of crime they do. Torture pedophilia rape.Trauma will haunt a person wounded by it forever. Death is a short quick end to someone who loved to harm others.

I myself would have rather died than faced the traumas I went through.
My life was shattered. All because a pedo wanted to get off.

Sometimes killing a torturer IS the moral thing to do.

That pig needs to die before he hurts other kids. I didn't ask for this PSTD.

The life of a criminal is not valuable when that life destroys hope happiness and ruins the rest of your life.
If there were no criminals because they knew they could not get away with it, and if they had no culture keeping them company and over identifying with them than there would be no more victims of human made crimes. No bystanders and moral relativists to look the other way and play every asshole is alive is"sacred" . Not every life is sacred a life can be depraved and the person chooses to sully their own worth by destroying others lives.

2. If you're open to a book suggestion .. read this one:
Death Of Innocents by Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking.
Too many innocent men and women are being murdered by the 'justice' system.

Let LIFE in prison MEAN LIFE in prison.

3. I am a neutreal on the Death Penality meanning this.
I think it is wrong for me to make life and death decisions for anyone and it should be up to the survivors of the crime to do it. I simply donot know the facts and case. I believe that the family should have the right to waive or pursue the death penality in each case individually. And than it is up to the judge and jury to see if the crime merits its.

7. I can see where you are coming from here.
I have been hurt by a pedophile years ago but because it occured before 1976 he cannot be brought to court..So realistically he might be still raping other kids. This asshole needs to DIE because once you go and rape a kid you have lost your humanity and cannot be trusted to exist around people anymore...But I can't stop him even tho I know what he did, and the law can't do squat because of the statute of limitations. My mom knows he's guilty,my cousin too..Because I tried to deny my own past and I felt terror at telling anyone for years,I didn't tell until it made me sick. The fear of his threats messed up my head and made me scared to come to terms with the traumatic scarring he did to me in time to prosecutte this asshole.Perps know how to work terror on the minds of thier victims and mess up thier minds so they can get away with crimes against kids and others. So why is it ok to let a pedophile manipulate his way out of a crime against me?
If there was ANY justice in this world I would be throwing the switch on this pig and finally feeling like there is hope.

I bet we got a lot of horror stories to swap over religion.
See I just believe I cant stand in anyones way where be it stem cell, abortion, gun rights or death penality. I know people will say am a dino or label me this or that but it's just not my place to tell people how to live.
On a side note I personally would never carry a gun, and can never pull a switch but that's my switch. But that's my choice and I cant make it for another human being.. Lol must be this damn parkinson making me damn bi polar.

11. Death penalty
My good friend, Frannie (Evinrude heiress), was murdered three days before her 19th birthday in 1982. Shw was abducted from the convenience store where she worked at 2 AM on a Tuesday morning, stabbed in the stomach and shot in the head. Frannie was buried on her 19th birthday. She is survived by her identical twin sister Cathy. Four people were arrested and charged with her murder. There is NO DOUBT that they did it. Three were given the death sentences. One was sentenced to life. One was executed in 1996. Ironically, his name was John Earl Bush. JEB Bush. The crime took place in Martin county, Florida. It has been 23 and a half years since Frannie died. JB "Pig" Parker and Alphonso Cave are still on death row in Florida, appealing their death sentences, 23 and a half goddamn years after they were sentenced to death. 4 and a half years longer that Frannie's entire life span. They drove her 13 miles from the place from which she was abducted. They said she begged for her life the whole way. She was so scared she peed her pants somewhwre along those 13 miles. The robbery netted them $128 dollars. You decide whether Parker and Cave should be executed. A jury has decided and I have already decided. I still cry for my friend whenever I think of her. If I was governor I would excuse state tax payments for the surviving family members of any victim whose murderer is still in prison. Why should Frannie's family be paying state taxes to support Parker and Cave instead of their own daughter. dennis00

15. Hi Dennis welcome to DU
I am so sorry for the horrible situation your friends and family went thru thats why I am a neutreal on the penaility. It should remain as an option for each individual survivor to be decided upon. Please read my first post. I think that I am trying to s ay is that am not kreskin and I cannot give a blanket yes or no until i know every circumstance and nuance around the case. I appologise for the confusion I was extremely under the weather for the last couple of nights and could barely type Danny. I wish your family peace.

12. I am squishy on the "death penalty" question
IF someone kills a member of MY family, then I am FOR the death penalty. IF a member of MY family kills someone, then I am NOT for the death penalty.

Many years ago, I worked for the state of LA, investigating child abuse , and that's when I began to believe in evil...not the biblical evil, but in the evil that is present in each person. I saw that certain people choose to let that evil come forth, enjoy it, reuse it, use it for power, and do not fight it in any way. I do not believe that pedophiles and other sexual abusers and child-abusers are "sick" and should be excused from punishment, even the most severe punishment. You can flame this if you want, I know what I saw, what I worked with, and what I believe.

I remember hearing Polly Klass's father on TV explaining why he wanted the kidnapper/abuser/killer of his daughter executed as soon as possible: He said that, every night this killer sits in his prison cell, and in his mind, he rapes and kills Polly over and over again, and enjoys it. He said he wants the raping and killing of Polly to end for this man. He cannot bear that thought, that the killer is still enjoying what he did to Polly. I think that is a reasonable request by Mr. Klass.

As long as it's fallible humans who are making the decisions.
