A Special Message From Tony Trupiano -PLEASE READ. CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT
http://www.whiterosesociety.org/Trupiano.html

This is not a goodbye. Hardly! As I begin my journey to capture the
Congressional seat in Michigan's 11th District, I leave you with a
purpose-filled heart and a determination you have helped to me to cultivate.
Our many hours spent together have given me the strength and vision to make
a difference, and I plan to do just that. Come November of 2006 Tony
Trupiano will be elected to Congress and come January of 2007, a new
revolution begins for the all American's, not just some. I take this
journey with my eyes wide open and my purpose clear. The battle for America
is worth the fight.

I will need the help of all of you from all over the world. My relationship
with so many of you because of this amazing community brings me great
comfort and support. As I have announced my decision to leave my radio
program, many of you from all corners of the globe have written well wishes
and empowering thoughts. Keep them coming...I will need them. Feel free to
continue to send your hopes and thoughts to me at tony@thetonyshow.com. We
will be sure to keep connected.

I want to thank Ben Burch for his caring support of my career. His guidance
and counsel on issues that matter, and his ongoing love of the First
Amendment and truth are unmatched. I cherish this great man and ask you to
support him both financially and professionally. Let the world know the
power of www.whiterosesociety.org.

So, here I go. Glad you're with me for the ride. We deserve to win and we
will!

5. And I have something to add to that.
WOW, will I miss him too. I listened to at least one hour of his show daily. Unlike the rest of the public, I will still have his archived shows to listen to, but nothing beats Tony on the issues of the day!

9. Yes. Have to!
Think about how things Tony has said lo these many years that could get taken out of context and used in an attack ad.

The archives will go back up when he wins, though!

11. Seat can be won -- Incumbent is Thaddeus McCotter (R-Livonia)
a backbencher of no note.

Folks in this area seem more concerned today with jobs and the economy than with fear of terrorists.

The atmosphere is totally different from '02 and '04.

IIRC, Nancy Skinner's brother-in-law lost to McCotter in '02.

12. I believe you are correct.
And I'm sure that Tony has factored that into his decision.

13. That's my district!
McCotter is basically a party hack - a toadie for DeLay.

Dems should tie McCotter and all these other hacks to DeLay. They all represent the GOP culture of corruption. I remember hearing McCotter is pretty close to DeLay.

This isn't an easy seat by any means but is winnable. Granted, Dems haven't seemed to put much resources into this district. McCotter won by 57%. The opponent was barely funded and had little if any name recognition and ended up with 41%.

14. Please do what ever you can to help him?
I'm VERY sure he could use some door-to-door help.
