Have there been any reports of Voting problems?
Like FLA 2000? Just curious.

1. Check These Boards:
www.bbvreport.org

Jesse Jackson hinted at much, much more.

2. The reports have centered on selectively forgetful
voter registration (like Florida) and wandering polling places (like Florida) and in one case, relocating people from voting at a church to voting in a police station. Many people, apparently, were told incorrectly that they were not registered and were given provisional ballots, which will not be counted unless the margin is small enough to make it "count" -- and these provisional ballots, according to one report, were too large to fit in the accompanying envelope, requiring them to be folded, which invalidates them in some cases.

Problems with machines counts usually take 2-7 days to show up, because they are identified through comparing anomalies in the pollbook vs. the count, or the precinct count vs. the county, or lost or discrepant memory cards and the like.

5. Polling location across street from me and I'm not on the list!?
I had to vote provisionally (along with at least 15 others - I saw the list) at around 7AM because my name was not on the rolls at the precint *IN* my apt. complex.

Going to L.A. county's website, for my street address and zip, that was supposed to be my voting location...according to the letter I got from the registrar, my precint was somewheres else. WTF?

They expected a record turnout, and subsequently *reduced* the numbers of polling places. F-ing brilliant.

The DNC needs to get on top of these Secretaries of State and these incompetent registrars who are/have been creating just enough of a fudge factor in these "close" elections to let just about anything happen.

6. IMPORTANT: Go check if the printout of results is posted
It is supposed to be posted, by law, and the printout is supposed to happen before the results are modemed in. This is the reason (flimsy, I know) they told me not to worry about the GEMS hack -- they said because the law says the printout is taken before modeming in results, and it is posted on the door, that makes it hard to do the GEMS hack.

If these results are missing, GEMS results are suspect.

Already found three places (out of three) that they are missing. And TinfoilHatProgrammer is jumping in, which usually means I'm onto something. Post your results either at http://www.BBVresult.org or here or in the Hark Alert Californians thread.

The results are supposed to be posted for seven days.

11. Folding the votes- I would never let anyone fold mine
I would volunteer to buy a bigger envelope if it folding meant risking invalidation. Un believable.

3. You mean...
Other then the fact that 300,000 registered democratic voters not being able to vote b/c 60% of their normal votingplaces weren't open?

Right?

4. Well, sources on those numbers would be helpful
the polling places not being open means they consolidate you over to somewhere else, I think.

But I'd love to know how many "challenge ballots" had to be cast today.

9. The reports will be silenced
We will never hear about them in the mainstream media. Maybe some website, but that will be written off as a conspiracy theorist. Things are only going to get worse.

10. Before you depress us all
There have been over 600 mainstream media reports about this topic in the last 90 days.

The voices are growing. They are talking about this in the rain, on a train, in the store, then some more.
