Something is wrong with the NUMBERS on the RECALL!
This is not making any sense at all. How could Arnold and McClintock get 65% of the vote when 45% of the people voted against the recall. This means that 25% of the people that voted against the recall voted for either Arnold or McClintock. What does that say? Obviously some very confused voters or something is really wrong here.
Second, Bustamante is getting slaughtered in LA. This doesn't make any sense either.

9. It is only 5% now 55%-45%. Only 20% reporting.
I am sure this will tighten more. I am just confused why how anyone can be against the Recall and for Arnold. Does not make sense. Lots of questions still.

19. I could see a conservative being real conservative
and voting no on the recall because that's just not the way things have always been done, but then if it passes, then vote for the conservative candidate. -- that wouldn't account for many % though.

3. I saw a women interviewed after she voted
She voted NO on the recall and McClintock - I can't explain it, but that is what she said. I imagine some others did the same.

5. Maybe that was the Freepers who forgot to vote FOR the recall?
They showed up to vote for Little Hitler Arnie, but forgot the recall part of the ballot.

7. If you think those numbers don't make sense, you have been watching CA TV
If you watched the local news you could understand why people voted so stupidly.

Remember that study...Fox viewers are stupid...they believe lies are the truth...well that's what the CA voters have been experiencing here in CA.

It's the end of democracy.

8. I've met some Repubs
who hate the idea of the recall -- think it's a bad precedent, etc. -- but who probably also picked a Repub like Arnie or McClintock to replace Davis just in case. I don't think that's so weird.

Just turn those little 4 numbers around, and look what you have! Good catch.

15. my aunt..
lives in California and told me she was going to vote 'no' to the recall because she didn't think it was right,BUT..she's a moderate republican so she was going to vote for McClintock. I'm guessing there were lots of people like her who voted against the recall on principle, but didn't necessarily go with Bustamante as the back up.

16. I don't doubt that there is some debating between Hitler and Mother
Teresa. But 25%! 25% vote for one of the other two Republicans. Seems really odd and fishy.
