4. The article flies in the face of the facts.
During the time of the murders in Philadelphia, MS, Democrats were the racists... for example, George Wallace of Alabama, and later, Lester Maddox of Georgia.

Ku Klux Klanners were mostly democrats at that time, IMO.

Democrats filibustered against the Civil Rights Bill of 1964.

Democrats killed the federal anti-lynching legislation until 1968.

We've come a long way since then, but buzzflash is wrong. We have to face facts. Our party has changed. The racists are Republicans now, but that wasn't true in 1964.
