Surprising Anti bush rally in my town !
After he 2000 election ,the town I live in where the average single family home cost around $700,000 ,there was a pro-bush rally on a busy street corner. I voted for Gore and have been a life long Dem .So I was very upset to see this ,when I moved here at the age of 15 in the early seventies my parents purchased a five bdrm house for $48,000, that house is now selling for a million plus in this area ! Anyway ,last Saturday on the same busy street corner in the morning I seen a lady sitting at a table with a large impeach bush poster taped to the front of it ! I beeped my horn and waved in support to the lady who had several other ladys with her, well later that day ,about 3:00PM I pased by and the protest has grown to a good 30 or so people ,now not a huge protest ,however in the city (San Francisco) ,they had a much larger protest going on also ,1,000 plus people .I just found it heart warming that my fellow towns folks are not so fond of bush anymore ,as they never should have been !

1. We had 120 protesters

in my suburban Detroit city which voted overwhelmingly for Bush in 2000 and 2004!! We stood on the main cross streets in the city and had 99% positive reactions from people driving by. They beeped, gave us the peace sign and thumbs up!! It was awesome. I came home and stuck my "Impeach Bush" sign into my front lawn. It was a great day. My first and definitely not my last anti bush protest. The tide is turning indeed!

Thanks for posting.
It just shows how many ordinary Americans are fed up with the deranged way B*sh is mishandling our country

3. Wonderful Story
I live in a city with no passion. If we got 25 people to protest anything, I would feel like I was a winner and my city was finally waking up. Your story is a reminder to me to keep fighting the good fight.
