Via Counterspin Central and Atrios I read that gubernatorial candidate Georgy Russell claims she was roughed up at a couple of Schwarzennegger rallies.

I have no idea if it is true, but I can say that here in Santa Monica yesterday afternoon about 15 young white males with signs were standing outside Arnold's headquarters on 4th avenue shouting down some code pink protesters across the street in very crude and intimidating terms.

One man walking across the street shouted, "your guy is going down!" to which the honorable and dignified "Schwarzennegger Studs" replied, "he's not going down on you, you fucking faggot!" followed by more cries of "faggot, pussy ... etc." Then they literally goosestepped down the sidewalk. I'm not joking. I saw it.

So I'm not surprised that Arnold's followers would rough up a woman at a campaign rally. That's how brownshirt thugs operate.

as anyone can be now, if they want to be. But it just amazed me that with the relevations of the 16 women that Arnold has been improper with, that he could get any woman anywhere to support him. Or anyone else, for that matter!

2. I don't support Goosestepping

The Nazi allegations are relatively unfounded.

Yes, he may have it in his heritage, but we have seen nothing that implicates him in any nazi agenda, except for the whole recall itself.

So for this reason, I think it is tacky to bash him on this basis - I prefer the "groper" stuff which he has rightfully earned.

Goosestepping attacks make Dems look dishonorable.

ahnuld fits the profile of a fascist leader. Nothing to do with his father's past or his own previous statements about Hitler.

Fascism relies on the cult of personality, like other forms of totalitarianism. Ahnuld is all about a projection of authority which he has not earned. He has no policy to speak of, that I've seen.

He spouts cliches of the right and acts as though that's policy.

He is on the record saying that he believes most people are sheep who need to be led by a strong authority figure.

unfortunately, his supporters do seem to bear out that idea.

Machiavelli, favorite of Ledeen and other PNAC'ers, also held the same opinion.

This country is going to hell, led by the Bush PNACers and their cronies who want to impose an antidemocratic rule in this land, combined with people in this country who have no idea of what they are wishing upon this country and themselves because they respond to surface and think it's reality.
