Poll question: The REAL Reason the press seems to have turned on Dumbya in recent days
What could explain the sudden reformation of SO MANY streetwalking harlots?

7. I'm torn...
On the one hand, I've felt under attack by the rabid right wingers for so long, I'm inclined to be pessimistic and say the media whores will return to their chimpy-fellating ways soon enough, and on the other hand, I've felt under attack by the rabid right wingers for so long I'm inclined to be a cynic and say the media whores are simply servicing their other pimp (a/k/a ratings). *sigh*

In my ideal world, I would confidently say that the beak-lipped pretender-to-the-throne has been cut loose by the more pragmatic segment of his fanatical supporters.

5. It's always about ratings
If the viewing audience turns against Bush so will the whores. Without Bush in power what would they have lose by turning on him? If Bush were going down what reason would they have to support him?

The advertisers pay for the viewing audience. Also they can bring back the on air debates like they had with Clinton?s troubles. That would bring back the leftie viewer. They have so much more to gain by following the herd.

"The evidence of deception is becoming too overwhelming to ignore" and they are trying to salvage some credibility so that they can continue their whoring on another front later. I think they have been trying to manage the story and it's gotten out of hand. The media rats are only jumping ship.

I have zero trust in the mainstream media.

8. Behind the scenes power struggles
Don't understand it all, but I think something is going on that could change the course of the world. I can only hope the right side wins and I honestly don't even know what side that is.

9. He's served his purpose so now they opt to jetison the numbskull
They must save the GOP, which is their vehicle to get another cardboard cutout elected to the oval office.

11. Other-people don't like being lied to
Of course they could have done at least minimal research and reported that all of this was at best a stretching of the truth but more likely lies to support predetermined policy.
