Front page coverage of DC protest from (dial-up warning!)
Given the fact that there was a major disaster in the making I think this coverage is good. This is from www.newseum.org and this pages will change tomorrow.

6. Tee hee.
I actually thought that, too.

:hi:

I was commenting more, however, on all the corporate media's hoopla over Hillary. ;)

9. Clark/Clinton might win
Clinton/Clark would have SEVERE problems in the red states and we HAVE to flip a couple of red states (maybe three or four) to overcome Diebold.

Besides, we should put the former general in as CinC and the senator in charge of the Senate. :)

2. Rita should be #1. Nothing wrong with that. At least the demonstration
made page 1.

10. The coverage has been fairly positive, on the whole -imo
and, graciously, didn't even dig too far into the more off-topic rally. The reports I saw only quoted Cindy, with bare mention of more diverse issues being represented.

11. I've been meaning to post that. I work in PR and I know that. . .
. . .the for those of who watch CSPAN it seemed like ANSWER took us of message but trust me, the majority of the media covering the story would not stick around to cover the later parts. That is why Cindy Sheehan spoke so early.

14. That fat guy in the water seems popular
Edited on Sun Sep-25-05 10:52 AM by Armstead
Okay, that's irrelevant. But interesting how many papers used picture of him.

It's good that the portests also made the front page. Perhaps without Rita, that would have been the above-the-fold lead.
