Any combination of these three candidates would be acceptable to me:

Dean-Kerry, Dean-Clark, Kerry-Dean, Kerry-Clark, Clark-Dean, Clark-Kerry....I think any of these would be a winner. And I think a Dean-Graham, Kerry-Graham, or Clark-Graham would also be acceptable.

Graham is a Washington insider who knows how to shepard legislation through. He would be an asset to either Clark or Dean in that regard. Kerry knows how but I wouldn't want him focusing strictly on the "inside baseball" aspect of governing.

I don't get the feeling that he is in top echelon at this time. I would support him in a heartbeat if I thought that was a possibility...however, I would love to see him in the Cabinet. I think he might make a good Secretary of Labor or Secretary of Interior or...

i snicker every time i visualize KERRY/CLARK on a bumper sticker, though: it sounds like an american idol winner's name to me!

CLARK/KERRY has the same syllabic resonance as bush/cheney.

and don't forget that CLARK is from arkansas, so graham isn't the only 'southern' candidate.

Is my vote.

Dean seems to be the strongest candidate, and now that Clark's out of the picture (probably) as a potential running mate, Edwards might give him the southern vote he needs.

But I could easily support a Clark/Kerry - Kerry/Clark ticket. I like Graham, but apparently most Americans don't - so where's the edge with him on the ticket? Would it be wise to annoint him as VP "just" to get Florida's vote? I don't believe he has any other Southern appeal except there. If Clark couldn't get the Southern vote at the top of a hypothetical ticket, it'd be a loser anyway, imo.

IOW, I don't believe people vote "for" the VP candidate; however, they might vote "against" a ticket because of the second man/woman on a ticket.

Dean has no appeal to me, and never has. I know *that* goes against the DU grain, by and large, but that's just mho anyway.

Clark is head and shoulders above the others in terms of looking, acting, and speaking the part of president.

As for the V.P., Gephardt was in the military, he is from a swing state (MO), and he has strong union ($$$) support!
