ATC on Friday's NPR....remembering those who died in Katrina
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4861300

(the link is to an audio)

dead given names and some facts

--an elderly woman who lived with caretakers; they were able to hold on to ceiling beams, she was not strong enough to do so

--52 year old man who died in Biloxi trying to save his 2 year old son who also died

--several people named who died in nursing homes or hospitals

there is also an audio of a woman waiting out Rita with elderly parents; she had returned home to celebrate a 70 year wedding anniversary and then stayed with parents when they refused to leave their home of 60? years
