1. That's fine, but the main message I'm hearing is that

we basically dodged a bullet. So, if most folks figure that this was an "overhyped" storm, over-compensation will just make the Katrina disaster look that much worse. Indeed, the additional Flooding in NO will only serve as a reminder of the Government's (all Government's BTW) neglect of the levee problem.

There was a lady who spoke after him who said they didn't know that people would have a problem getting out of town all at the same time! And I just thought........you gotta be kidding!! Houston has traffic jams every day even without hurricanes! And these people apparently thought everyone in the city could leave at the same time without a problem?

That sounds too much like the 'who could've imagined.....' excuse!

I'm really tired of hearing that excuse and I almost wish they would make it illegal to even use that excuse!

Maybe we should get rid of these people with extremely limited intelligence and imaginations and replace them with people who CAN imagine such things!!!
