Not that you could possibly forget it, since we are reminded of it on every mention of the protest, "to be fair". BTW, where is this "counter protest"?

3. Then why isn't C-SPAN showing it?
Can we fit all the counter-protesters into a telephone booth?

I think we have a homework assignment for the peace protesters in DC. Stuff the FReepers in a phone booth and chain it shut! Good, clean, nonviolent fun...

23. Hey, there are many public phone booths left.
And the ones that exist are often pretty disgusting as it is. Why make them even more disgusting?

Clot
September 24th, 2005

We have to march around a clot of counter-demonstrators who are being thunderously shouted down.

The Iraq veterans are here. The streets of DC are wild.

12. I love this Will entry:
I think the ANSWER rally is ending and people will begun feeding into the street.

Funny moment. Mimi Kennedy is standing here trying to give someone directions to this spot: “Walk past the peace signs and through the pink balloons. Turn left at the Abu Ghraib guy and pass the giant Bush head.”

Hee hee hee.

13. Maybe 50 Freepers with signs "Give War a Chance" and 25 Porta Potties.
They never appear without ample Porta Potties and ridiculous signs that mean nothing.

9. Tomorrow, I think
They are calling it "SUPPORT THE TROOPS AND THE WAR" -- talk about concepts in opposition. Those who love and support the troops want them home with us....

Watch CSPAN, you do not have to listen to any commentary--just the speakers, no commercials...

22. It is really important to note that WE now seem to 'own'
SUPPORT THE TROOPS - they HAVE to add the words 'and the war' to clarify their position. That IS an important change.
