10. I heard it and thought the same thing
He wants to help get the vote out for Arnold. Tweety and the corporatist media want to install Arnold so badly it is bizarre and ugly.

20. voted for Bush if that is an indicator
Matthews has openly admitted he voted for Bush. He tries to give different sides but to my observation he has been pro Arnold all along.

in 2000 calling Gore the winner early. I hope CA don't fall for it and go to the polls.

25. Gore was the winner
It was called because exit polls showed quite clearly that Gore won the state. It was after that the GOP started their dirty dealings. It had absolutely nothing to do with Gore winning Florida being called early. Exit polls have been accurate in every election they have been used in Except Florida Go Figure.

13. Now wait. You can take this two ways.
He may be trying to get the repukes to go out and vote for Arnie or the Dems to stay home. But maybe, he is getting an indication that it's not going the way they think it will. Some of you were complaining that the media was whoring for Arnold (which they are) but one guy says that Bustamante will win and some of you still don't like it. I'm confused.

Go Davis!

17. I think things might go badly for the GOP because
there were lots of stories yesterday about voting problems on the cable news stations. The GOP WILL challenge the results in court if they lose and they WILL take it to the Supreme Court.

15. I think Matthews is more of a media whore than a Bush "puppet"
He would love to see his prediction come true. Just think if he was the only one predicting this and it happens.

I don't think he is as much of a Bush puppet as everyone else does here. He's been on Bush & Co. a lot in the last several months. He was VERY outspoken against the war in Iraq. He worked for Tip O'Neill and says he's a Democrat.

He just wants to get the "scoop" from Rove and loves to be a "player." THAT"S what's behind him getting info from Rove. He is a media whore above all else.

18. Tweety's cover has been blown.
He's been outed as a Repub flunky. He was the one who told Wilson that Rove told him his wife was "fair game". He chats with Rove? He even admitted last week to Luntz he was "more conservative" than he seemed and that he voted for Bu**sh**. Luntz feigned surprise.

23. I could see this happening
Gray Davis's recall numbers are going up but even if you vote "NO" on the recall you have to select a replacement should the recall go through.

So folks who support Davis are probably going to pick Bustamente as their replacement, just in case.

If Cruz wins, I hope he picks Gray Davis as his Lt. Gov.

26. Right on trying to get AS votes out AND
trying to make it sound close to get ratings - he's MSNBC's (and NBC's?) guy tonite on the recall. Which means we'll probably have no Keith O to watch again as they pump up Matthews.

On the better side, I thought I heard Jon Stewart say they were going to be on live from CA tonite. Anyone else hear this? Am going to tune in Com Cen ofrom time to time to see if true.
