6. You can feel it on the street here in DC.
People in peace gear are everywhere, on the Metro, on the streets. I just got home, and am going to shower and change and get my ass down to the ellipse.

I'm really excited about this though, turnout looks good and it's still an hour and a half before the rally starts.

Much love to the DU'ers that couldn't make it. We hope we'll make you proud.

10. My son just got there
He took the Greyhound bus at 11 last night to NYC for a connecting 4 AM to DC. They had to add 3 more busses and he was able to get on the last one. He doesn't have a map of DC with him so when he called I used mapquest to get him directions. He's heading to Camp Casey on foot from 2nd Street

deja vu all over again - I was doing this at his age 35 years ago - sans the cellphone, digital camera and mapquest of course

11. Yeah, it's pretty exciting.
Luckily I'm in the neighborhood, so I've been walking to these things the past few years, but this is the big one. I don't think I've ever seen so much mobilization and interest. I'm very excited.
