Go to the Federal Election Commission homepage at www.fec.gov.
On the left of their homepage is a link labeled "Campaign Finance Reports and Data", click it.

Scroll down a ways to Image/Query System, under that choose "View Financial Reports"...

Under the intro paragraph choose "Search the Report Image System"

In the dialogue box type "Clinton" and click "Get Listing"

20 entries down you`ll see "CLINTON, HILLARY RODHAM", click on the blue number "P00003392" beside her name.

Guess what? "Presidential Candidate 2004 ".

Hillary Rodham Clinton filed late Friday, Oct 3rd, with the Federal Election Commission to run for President in 2004.

This has already been vetted by DU last week. It is most likely a filing done by a Hillary supporter and was unauthorized.

If Hillary did actually file, the RW press would be all over it. That is their dream. She hasn't filed. Trust me.

And, if this is the same thing I saw last week, it's not a PDF or a photo, it's just HTML, which anyone could post.

You mean Hillary is running, so she files and does it secretly when there are so many freeps just pissing in their depends hoping this would happen. Boy she must be not too bright to think this could be kept secret!

I hope she does run, the ER's would be packed with freepers overnight. Ideally she would file, declare and NOT campaign, just to keep the freeps busy untwisting their panties during the campaign season. She should take several trips to Iowa and New Hampshire too.
