So when does Bush become "expendable"?
Come on, everyone knows this man is quite possibly the stupidest son of a bitch that ever lived. The Republican powers-that-be must be getting exhausted from smoothing things over for this cretin whenever he spews his latest dumb-as-rocks off-the-cuff remark. I mean, out of the MILLIONS of Republicans in this country, surely 99.99% have to be smarter than the one twit in this nation that makes Pauly Shore look like Voltaire.

So when will they finally get tired of covering for this moron? When will they finally let Dubya pay for all of their sins? I find it absolutely impossible to believe that anyone--ANYONE--would take the fall for such an absolute skinjob, such a complete zero of a so-called human being. It just defies my imagination.

2. the scandal
is at the 3:2 step dance of US Politics

For the moment the GOP is still tyring to kill it
as it builds momentum.

The Demos are finally finding a voice or us
proding them is helping, I do not know...

I suspect truth is somewhere in there.

When he becomes expendable, depnds how many
skeletons the crime family has and just how
fast they finish pissing off the Intel Services..

For those not keeping score, here is the list

Directly pissing off...

CIA
FBI
DIA

Indirectly..

MI5
MI6

And of cousre there is the other player
AIEA
UN...

It is not a good idea when you piss off the spooks
They know where the skeletons are... they will dig them out
they are also loyal
and the faster the better.

Now Chenney will go first though... they are really angry
with the VP, as well as Rummy, Plan B, Office of Special Plans.

5. A nice compilation
It really does look (at least to me) that the Republican movers and shakers are positioning themselves to deny this loser three times before the cock crows. I guess what I've never understood is why they haven't done so long before now, but maybe it's just because things have never been as bad for them as they are now, and that's (kind of) encouraging.

4. I think he's done. The man could barely keep it together
playing King of the World. When the shit really hits the fan...what I wonder is who will the Repukes run next year and will McCain get his revenge for last time?

6. He'll be gone as soon as the new VP is installed.
This is what I predicted about March of 2001. A lot of people laughed at me then, but I still think I'm right...

Unca Dick is on the way out. Everything--even down to the decision to put the Niger material into the SOTU address--traces back to Unca Dick's office.

I said a long time ago that Unca Dick was never intended to stay the entire four years, anyway. Unca Dick was there only to make sure that the chimp manged to get the tax cuts thru and the regs relaxed for corporate America. In return for his service, Unca Dick's company-Haliburton-gets a whole lot richer.

I also said I thought Monkey Boy was never put in office by the big money guys because they thought he'd be a good President. He was selected because he was controllable, and he was a "throw-away". They used him like a kleenex to get the stuff pushed thru that would enrich the corporations a little more.

I expected shrub to be in office until he enaceted all they wanted--then I expected them to replace Unca Dick and then the leaks would start about shrub's past and his illegal activities. Unca Dick's replacement will be a Moderate Repub who is not going to undo the gains they've made in the last two years. Unca Dick's replacement is who they plan to run in 04.

They are going to give up shrub and it will be ugly when they do it. Every Repub except a few will jump ship on him and they'll do it claiming high moral ground because of some misdeed of his. He will either be impeached or worse.

You'll know it is coming when Unca Dick announces he's stepping down. I look for it to be very soon now. Whoever they put in the VP slot will have to have time to establish as the (p)Resident afer shurb goes away--but before the election.

8. Laura...you are so right.
I think Unca Dick will resign for "health reasons."

I love your metaphor about the kleenex....yeah, that's *.

Good post.

9. Very plausible
Sound about right to me. But there are other ways besides impeachment. Isn't there some kind of a curse?

I don't know if I remember it right, but isn't there a curse on every President elected in a year that is divisible by 20?

What would happen if that curse came true? Bush the hero?

10. I think Bush will stay in as curse fodder.
Dick might step down, but, I don't think he will unless forced.

The handlers have to be happy enough with Bush's progress. There wouldn't be another dupe as dumb as W waiting for the curse which I doubt he believes -- assuming he even knows about it. The real money is in Haliburton and Carlye war contracts and asbestos case denials. So, more wars and political power will mean more retirement money for W (if he lives) and Dick. They want to stay in power.

11. It's to their advantage that he is regarded as stupid
Nobody expects him to be competent, so the standards are far lower than if he were considered competent, honest or having integrity. He is the perfect republican president: of course he is stupid, but he is "handsome" and doesn't get involved in "nuance". They regard him as some kind of spokesman, and not really responsible.

But since loyalty to Bush is the highest value in this administration, he will be the last to go. They will pillage as much from the treasury (and Iraq) as possible before the end.

If the yellowcake scandal has legs, or just keeps leading into the other lies, and goes on until Nov 04, we will recapture the White House quite handily.

12. I'm not sure it's true--hard to believe
but I was watching an author on Booknotes speaking on C-Span the other day, and he asserted that half our population has an I.Q. under 100. They decorate their front yards with old tires and vote for straight-shooting buckaroos, I guess. Come to think about it, where did Chimpy get that accent? The rest of the family doesn't do that. They all came from the eastern seaboard.
