TSA workers did not show up for work at Houston's airports
today (about 100 of them). Shouldn't TSA, being part of HOMELAND FUCKING SECURITY, have had a plan in place so that their employees and their families would feel safe about working until the last flight out left? Like planes to fly the employees and families to a safe location before the storm hits???? Or would that be too much to expect?

I am required to work at a special needs shelter during storms, but at least I am allowed to bring my family there with me.

Ranting some more, isn't telling 1.8 million people just to hit the road pretty godamned dumb? Almost as dumb as relying on ACCUWEATHER for hurricane forecasts.

I think that what needs to be done is for all the folks to get out of their houses and cars and yell "Don't mess with Texas!" at the top of their lungs. That'll fix things.

1. You obviously think these shit heads we called leaders should have a plan
I mean its not like they have been telling us that the country is prepared because we got little poop head in charge and he is keeping us safe.... If we have homeland security it is sure keeping a low fucking profile.

3. The Texas Governor was pretty
confident that they had things totally under control a few days ago. Here's a post of what the gov said at that time.

5. 'Confident' beforehand; 'blame' afterwards.
"Excuse me, Governor Goodhair, but I don't give a flying fuck what your OPINION of your own performance is! Put up or shut up, you arrogant fucks!"

Every time Smirk gives himself good reviews, I feel the gorge rising in my throat.

6. I'm sure some of the people were stuck in that effed up traffic.

8. Didn't even think of that. Good point. They could still be on their
way to work.

7. Well, TSA can take a long walk on a short pier, IMO
I wish they'd just stop showing up altogether. They make the airport experience (already stressful) downright inhuman.
