Talking Point: Conservative Experiment is a Disaster
Already!!!! Only 5 years and look!

On the other hand, the "Liberal Experiment has been very successful, and more needs to be done.

Bush and his Neo-Cons have done everything in their power to destroy programs belonging to the "Liberal" experiment. In fact, they prove that they do not understand government and are detached from the reality that this country depends on it more than they realise.

So, thanks for fucking up so badly... Goodbye Righties!

1. Have you seen what they want to do now? They want to gut everything
to pay for Katrina.

IN other words, think more of what they want will do the trick.

Either that or they know it doesn't work but want the tax cuts too badly to change course...

3. The Easy Retort Is. . .
. . ."But the fiscal situation we're in was based upon the money YOU spent." That shuts them up. Trust me. There are people at this place who are small gov't liberterians who believe in gutting everything. But when they're reminded that the same people who are trying to cut everything are those that spent all the money and made gov't bigger, they have nothing!

2. Excellent !!!!!!
I posted earlier today that unless impeachment is a viable possibility then we should shift from criticizing Bush to criticizing the Republican party. This is a wonderful, wonderful framework to bash the entire conservative agenda.

Thanks so much!

5. Democrats made New Orleans
Democrats made New Orleans what it is. Carpet bagging conservatives should stay the hell out.

4. Agreed. A unified message works for them. Why shouldn't we
have one too? Especially one that is as accurate as this. We've let them bash liberalism to the point where few politicians will self-apply the term. It's time we do the same thing to conservatism. Right now still more Americans would be more willing to call themselves conservatives than liberals. It is time to change that. People want good schools, strong and sensible and credible defense. They want a rebuilt New Orleans and they want to do it by forgoing tax cuts!

To this we should add that liberals are the true patriots because we want to "invest in America!" rather than gut it and allow catastrophes to happen.

8. Yep, it's like I find myself saying more and more:
While I disagree with almost the entire spectrum of American politics in thought, having the Dems in control is by far better for all of humanity than having the Repubs.

9. just like the Khmer Rouge's barbaric experiments failure
not on the same degree - but that's because of the safeguards in place in the constitution.
