Or do they have a menage a trois? And does Jeff Gannon know? Aren't blow jobs impeachable offenses? Inquiring minds want to know.

this important story for them ~ ~ and there's a bright side to this news, he's not a very nice guy without the booze, even his own aides are afraid he'll throw a hissy fit if they give him bad news. Now that he's back on the bottle, he'll probably be a lot easier to get along with.

Wow! That proves they know and are on alert to protect poor, little freepers from anymore bad news this week!

Look what they did to hide the fact that he was AWOL!! It's an amazing phenomenon, the way freeps put their heads in the sand and fingers in their ears, rather than hear one bad word about this useless POS phony president!!

Hey, thanks for going over there and posting it for them ~ too bad ordinary Freeps are not allowed to choose what they can read. They really are on the ball about this, probably have a special detail working overtime to censor this story!!

I hope you didn't lose your membership!!

42. Enquirer broke the Limbaugh pill popping investigation story. They had
inside sources. Most notably, Rushbo's former housekeeper/supplier:
http://www.nydailynews.com/10-02-2003/front/story/122839p-110349c.html

I wouldn't be surprised if Bush has been off the wagon for a good deal longer than the NE's story makes out. Like years.

Recently there was a buzz about a Aug 30 visit he was supposed to have at a military hospital in San Diego. He showed up but didn't stay long and reportedly the Pres was seen being helped up the steps of AF 1 by Laura. Some wondered if he had a medical problem. (Others reading about it speculated that he was just liquored up.) From Raw Story:

But when Bush and his entourage arrived at the medical facility, those plans changed. One local news station reported that the President never left his motorcade, departing for the airport 15 minutes after arriving. The station aired footage of Bush laboring to ascend steps up to Air Force One, aided by his wife, Laura. A newscaster commented on the President's wavering gait and noted that it was unusual for him not to pause to shake hands with well-wishers at the airport. The broadcast led to local speculation that the President may have encountered a medical problem.

KNSD Channel 10 later retracted the story, reporting that Bush in fact entered the medical center and visited briefly with injured patients, but would not allow camera crews to accompany him. A call to the medical center's public relations office was not returned.

"We were providing the pool photography," KNSD TV assignment editor Gonzalo Rojas told RAW STORY. "We were originally told that we were going to be allowed to go in with him, but we were not. No one was. He was only in there a short time."

The President cut short his announced hour-and-a-half visit, departing an estimated 15 minutes after arriving at the medical facility. No reason for the abrupt departure was provided to the media...

47. Again, an attempt to paint him as having an iota of sympathy while trying
to garner some other grade of sympathy and support for his falling off the wagon, while at the same time providing an excuse for his crminally negligent response to the attrocity he committed concerning New Orleans. This story is targetted toward doing that. he has no caring for anyone, if he drank it is because as with many drunks, he has inner issues he can't deal with: self-esteem, unresolved anger, denial, inner guilt over previous failures, resentments of slights. He is a thug and a killer and slyly attempting to humanize him this way is not credible. The Enquirer is none other than a supporter of Bush.

And haven't Nick and Jessica been on the verge of divorce for about a year now?

Jeebus, people, it's a tabloid. Bush boozin' it up sells tabloids. I can't believe people are taking the National Enquirer seriously. Not that I doubt Bush is still drinking, by the way - I just don't think we should proudly parade the National Enquirer around as a legitimate source.
