It just strikes me as funny that people from the right are always screaming that Democrats will take their guns and now we hear that a Republican administration has actually gone and done this!

You do realize that if this is true we can use this in a commercial and say "Republicans not only want to take away your guns, THEY ALREADY HAVE!!!!"

I truly think we should use this in TV commercials because their are enough gun nuts who will be absolutely pissed about this and it could change some elections!

Thoughts?

1. Depends on who gave the order
I'm sure Republicans will assume it was the Governor. I really don't know.

2. The NRA is impotent
and as weak and ineffective as wet toilet paper. All you Minnesota "Sportsmen For Bush" do you get it now? Ya get it? What good is all your concern about the second ammendment when the entire freakin' constitution is being shredded. Do you get now? You are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

"The NRA will not stand idly by while guns are confiscated from law-abiding people who’re trying to defend themselves," he said. "

Thats bullsquat, Wayne, you just did. You sat there with your thumb up your ass while your "NRA endorsed candidate" DISARMED law abiding citizens.

3. I have mixed feelings about this issue
It's a very potent issue! Rural folk LOVE their guns and they don't even like to hear rumors about them being taken away. Well, that is unless they are taken away from a poor Black Man. Much of the NRA are prejudice ass holes so they could care less if guns are taken away from Blacks. In fact they might like that to happen!

The sad thing is if Dems were to make an issue out of this they would probably have to leave out the part of the guns being taken from Blacks. This country is still so backward!!!!

Perhaps we should tell the truth and that will get more Blacks to the polls as they realize how much prejudice their still is.
