President hits new lows in poll
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2005-09-19-bush-poll_x.htm

WASHINGTON — Americans' view of President Bush and his leadership has soured in the wake of dismay over the government's response to Hurricane Katrina, the course of the Iraq war and the future of the economy

2. Well it says.....
<snip>
"Bush's overall approval rating is 40%, equaling a previous low. His overall disapproval rating is 58%, a new high."

Does anyone have a summary of every new low that Bush has been reported to have in the past eight months? They all appear to be the same low for approvals while disapprovals are hitting new highs!

:crazy:

6. No opinion has dropped from 4% to 2%
He was at 40% in this poll Aug 22-25, but Disapproval was lower (56% vs 58%). Apparently about half of the "No Opinions" weren't impressed with the "Haunted Mansion" speech.

7. Add the numbers up
50% and 48% = 98%, right?

So that means only 2% is "don't know/no answer".

And that means his disapproval number is drawing from that DK/NA group. Once that group is zeroed out, the next place to draw from is the "approves" group.

He may hit 20% approval before Jan 2009. :bounce: It would break HST's record of 24% and is the kind of Presidential Record that I can live with Bush breaking.:toast:
