Will The Corporate Media Report on The DC Anti-War Protest This Sat.?
We know their record of the last 3 years totally ignoring and/or down playing the anti-war movement in numbers attending and the message.

I am hopeful given the change I have seen on my TV these last few weeks after Katerina that perhaps things have changed. Just maybe, for once they will have reporters on the ground showing what real Democracy looks like on the Mall in DC.

Am I getting my hopes up too high here? I will be in DC with my family for the weekend without computer access. I will log on Sunday night after we get back to see how DU has reported the protests. And hopefully there will be threads on how the MSM finally did their job and reported what the majority in this country are feeling....
"Bring Them Home Now!".

3. I hope so but
I have my doubts because I have yet to hear about it in any form on the MSM. You'd think that they might mention that it is coming up soon.

If it is HUGE, though, I just don't see how they can ignore it or give it just a few seconds of coverage. I guess maybe they are waiting to see what develops.

8. You're Right
I have stopped looking at MSM, but my husband still does and he has seen nothing about the march Saturday. I have also told some friends I am going and they knew nothing about it.

It will be interesting to see if there is any coverage afterwards.

6. I am hopeful too...
I certainly expect C-Span to cover it and I guess it'll be a test of CNN and the others.

7. They will show a few nutcases and interview a few cluless celebs
They'll do closeups of ,you know, the Israel caused 9/11 crowd, scary socialists with bright colored signs and people just hanging around listening to the music.

On the other hand if the numbers are big enough, the crowd will speak for itself.
