A "calendar" thread re: voting machines + public hearings - anyone?

Would this be helpful to DU'ers to have these public hearings listed alphabetically by state, in one place rather than posting these one by one as they are found by me or others? Let me know what you think..

posts would be something like this:

New Jersey touch-screen voting machine plans

Public Hearings

A regular set of public hearings are scheduled to discuss the preliminary plan, which seem like the best opportunities to have your voice heard. The schedule is as follows (subject to change):

June 23, 2003 - Trenton work session and public hearing
July 2, 2003 - Newark work session and public hearing
July 7, 2003 - Camden work session and public hearing
July 8, 2003 - New Brunswick work sessions and public hearing (two sessions, morning and evening)
July 15, 2003 - Cape May work session and public hearing
July 21, 2003 - Sussex work session and public hearing

By the way, there appear to be some states that have already had public meetings re: voting machines. I will post any data regarding these meetings.

The info. may not be alpha at first, but will sort it out as best I can.. so pls. bear with me..
