Bill Clinton wants to Repeal High-Income Tax Cuts

Pres. Clinton was on the Today Show this morning and wants the tax cuts repealed.




How will President Bush be able to sell the idea of these tax cuts to the American people after what has happened in the Gulf Coast and the escalading costs in Iraq? Katrina did put a spotlight on poverty in the US and although his base wants these cuts, I doubt the majority of our citizens will. The Rude Pundit takes a look at poverty in his own rude way.

He would always include himself. "Why do I, who made a LOT of money, need a tax cut? I don't need it, the poor people do."

The greedy repukes will think of something to use as an excuse NOT to repeal them. Their think tanks are working overtime, I'm sure.
