The smoking gun- Gev Ernie Fletcher (R) Ky
Looks like Druen spilled the beans before Gov Ernie had the chance to pardon him.

"FRANKFORT - Transportation Cabinet officials presented the memo that became the notorious "hit list" to top administration members while in Gov. Ernie Fletcher's presence, according to a deposition of a key player in the state hiring investigation.

That list, compiled last spring by Transportation Cabinet officials, was the second memo targeting protected merit employees for transfers or firing, former transportation official Dan Druen told prosecutors.

Druen's testimony is the most detailed allegation so far that Fletcher was aware of and possibly took part in personnel actions that violated state laws."

One word could bury Ernie, and that word is "Great."

"During one May meeting with Transportation Cabinet leaders, the acting secretary handed the list of targeted employees to Fletcher who said, "Great," before giving it to his personnel director, Druen said. He did not make clear in his deposition whether Fletcher reviewed the document first."

2. Ernie plead the 5th a few weeks ago. Say nothing and
avoid perjury charges. It isn't a good idea to lie to a grand jury.

Ernie, Taft, and bush have shown that the Republican party is not morally fit to lead.

BTW, his numbers are lower than the chimp's.

3. Good. Bastard.
So, how fast do you think Bunning will retire for medical reasons and Fletcher appoints himself to his senate seat to get away from all this?

If nothing else, I hope all this crap wakes up the people of Kentucky. We're not really red anyway... more like purple. I guess only time will tell.

Can we recall this buffoon??
