An example of the new 4th of July spirit...

When we got up on July 5th, we found that our landscape lighting had been stolen, and our garden vandalized.

<sarcasm> It makes me so proud to be an American when wonderful values like this are demonstrated </end sarcasm>...But maybe this is just a tiny reflection of the culture that the Bush 'government' is cultivating.

I know this happens on many 'good time' holidays, but the fact that it happened on the 4th this year seems to me symbolic of the hijacking of my country.

I just wanted to share that with some sympathetic ears. :)
