New "Faux News" Terminology

Faux News now is using new terminology in their reporting. They are now referring to the Suicide Bombing as "Homicide" Bombings.

Although they are terrible, to say that it is homicide bombing opens it up to much more interpretation and is highly debatable. I don't mean to codone the actions of Hamas or any other group, but the word "suicide" bombings is probably more accurate.

Ari Fleischer used to call them homicide bombings last year. Hannity and his pals started using the same line - heck, even the Australian foreign minister (Downer) started calling them homicide bombers as well. But you are correct that it is a deliberate spin by the right wingers to diminish any sympathy for the Palestinians...

Seems stupid... the homicide part is a given. THe suicide part tells us I the bomber died with it or is te bomber was somewhere else.

8. That's what I said when I first heard the term . . .

If you detonate a bomb with the express intention of killing another human being, it's a homicide bombing. Whether it's strapped to the chest of a radical or dropped from a plane as ordered by a chimp.

9. Been doing it for a while

at least a year. The stupidity of the terminology is that it creates no distinction between a bomber who only kills others and a bomber who kills himself and others. It makes no sense, but then again, consider the source.

These are clearly suicide bombings because the bombers intentionally kill themselves in the act of the bombing.

If they set the bombs and walk away to bomb another day, they would be homicide bombings.
