Why I like McClintock (at the moment)
"If those allegations are true, you should drop out of the race."--McClintock on Arnold.
http://www.kxtv10.com/storyfull.asp?id=5442

I know, he is a Republican. Nonetheless, I am loving him dispite his political stances because he is slamming on Arnold and giving Bustamanta a shot at winning if the recall passes. No doubt that if Arnold fails it will be because of McClintock dividing the vote.

I think something even bigger is going to come out in the papers tommorrow or Tuesday mourning about Arnold.

How do you guys feel about McClinton and do you think Arnold will win or lose?

Mike

, and again coming as late as they are, I believe
they need to be treated with great skepticism, that conduct is
reprehensible...As the father of a 13-year-old daughter, I would have a
great deal of trouble accepting that that kind of conduct has been
elevated to the highest office in the state," he said.

1. How I feel about this is that I hope
more republicans are liking him
less Republicans are liking Arnold
Cruz isn't looking so bad to Dems and more Dems and undecideds as well as Republicans are reconsidering the recall even if it's out of fear that Democrats control Sacramento and will drag Arnold through hell while sticking needles in his fingernails and toes since they can

He is a smart principled fundementalist conservative.

Not my type I'm voting for Cruz and against the recall.

McClintock is against many things I support like
more right for undocumented workers and choice.

He doesn't scapegoat Native Americans like the Arnolf.

He is very anti-enviroment but is pro medical pot
like everyone else in CA.

He is an independent thinking non-corporate republican
who I wouldn't ever vote for.

I like him much better than Arnolf the corprate pig man.

No recall Yes Baustamante No 54

4. McClintock is a conservative
who has not tried to misrepresent himself so at the very least it makes him more honest than Swartzenegger. That said, I want both of them, the Groper and McClintock, to lose.

It's hard to say at this point whether Arnold's behavior will make any difference to voters or not. Just saw a poll that has Swartzenegger still in the lead so that doesn't bode too well for Davis, or Bustamante. However, I think most of the polls are going to fluctuate wildly between now and Tuesday so they probably don't mean much.

I'm voting NO on the recall, and on the second part I'm voting for Bustamante. Maybe the voters will come to their senses by Tuesday and send Arnie back to whatever rock he crawled out from under.

5. There was a recent thread here in GD that covered the issue pretty well...
Give it a read when you have a chance, there were some interesting responses.

"Not backing McClintock will cost the GOP"
