Dissent will not be silenced-9/19
amazing speakers - a chance to stand up for truth

http://www.stpatricksfour.org/

From Crawford to Binghamton to Washington & Beyond.

Please join us in Binghamton New York for the St. Patrick's Four trial and the Citizens' Tribunal on Iraq.

Each morning, at precisely 8:30 AM, supporters will process silently from Peace Park (junction of the two rivers, South Washington Street footbridge) to the courthouse.

Each day we will stand united with the defendants both inside and outside the federal courthouse, making clear our defiant, determined resistance to this administration's arrogance, intimidation, and immoral aggression.

Each night, beginning at 7 PM unless indicated otherwise, we will assemble to hear the testimony of expert witnesses that shall affirm the legal right to resist nonviolently this illegal war.

Limited free housing is available for those coming from out of town. To inquire about accommodations, please contact the SP4 Housing Coordinator, Anne Clune. Also, those residents of the greater binghamton area that have rooms available should contact Anne as well.

Email: clunemommy@yahoo.com
Phone: 607-773-0246

For those interested in carpooling from the Ithaca area, please contact Sareanda at 277-1799.

For a list of hotels in the area, please see here.

And at the end of the week, early Saturday morning, a bus will depart Binghamton for the national convergence in Washington. The first bus charted for Washington has been filled, but a second is in the works. Contact Diane Hunter of Veterans Advocacy Center to let her know you are interested: by email at dilizy@aol.com, or by phone at 607-237-1549, or George Haeseler: by email at g.haeseler@att.net, or by phone at 607-729-1044.

"If you fall on the side that is pro-George, and pro-war, you get your ass over to Iraq, and take the place of somebody who wants to come home. And if you fall on the side that is against this war and against George Bush, stand up and speak out."

"But whatever side you fall on, quit being on the fence."

"The opposite of good is not evil, it's apathy. And we have to get this country off their butts, and we have to get the choir singing."

--Cindy Sheehan, mother of fallen soldier Casey A. Sheehan, and cofounder of Gold Star Families for Peace
