????? John Bolton



I wanted to find out about Neil Gaiman, whose book Neverwhere I just discovered. (I'd never heard about Gaiman before.) When I went to Gaiman's homepage, I learned he had made a short film about John Bolton. Aha, I thought.

Clicking on that link, I discovered the film is about a John Bolton who illustrates comic books and is known for his paintings of female vampires.

1. Did you see the full-page anti-Bolton ad in the NYT today?
Scared the crap out of me when I turned the page. Not so different from the image above.

2. You want some good Gaiman?
Find the entire "Sandman" series in your local bookstore (it's in the comic book section). There's ten volumes altogether, read them all and marvel at the man's genius.
