the pledge and gay marriage, some good news.

Some of our countrymen are coming to their senses. Gay marriage ban in Mass. legislature approved last year, this year defeated. It will not go on the ballot. Several legislators saying "hey, we have lived with gay marriage in Mass for a year or so now and nothing bad has happened. Maybe it won't destroy our lives."

And I'm delighted to see the pledge issue back on track. We need to stand up for what we believe in or we might as well join them. We need a clear message and that message is tolerance, hope, charity, compassion, freedom, liberty and pulling together instead of pulling apart.
