"to the extent that the federal government didn't fully do it's job right, I take responsibility," . . .

and a month from now, his "thorough" investigation will conclude that, gee gosh golly, there WAS no extent that the federal government didn't do it's job right . . .

qualifying "taking responsibility" with "to the extent that" negates whatever responsibility he claims to be taking . . . just another BushCo lie/pr stunt . . .
