He actually just talked about how he flew to "Louisiana, and I think Nebraska" that day!
On Edit: This was on the Imus show.

1. He's been getting a stronger voice as he's been running for Senate

I've heard him on local talk shows (I'm in Tennessee) slamming Bush's leadership in Iraq and on other issues.

He's really only "conservative" on abortion issues (he's a little limited in his pro-choice stance - like parental notification, etc., but he's still pro-choice), but he's been consistantly liberal on civil rights issues, education, taxation, etc. I realize he's voted for some other more conserative issues, but his overall record is more liberal than not.

2. In every Ford thread...
...I make it my duty to remind everyone that he was the first congressional representative to "second" Cynthia McKinney's call for a 9-11 investigation...

5. I am hoping that on some distant day we can call her
Madam President.

3. Sorry to burst your bubble, but he will revert to DLC
talking points whenever it is politically expedient. I have been so disappointed in him and Obama. I want someone who will be consistent, and so far they have left me wanting. They could learn something from Conyers, Barbara Lee, C. McKinney, for example.

4. Not really.
He is a moderate and has flirted with the DLC, but I think he's coming out of that fog.

He's been pretty forceful, lately.
