4. Um...shouldn't the person who appointed Mr. Pony resign?
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 02:10 PM by BeHereNow
Hate be to logical and all, but doesn't the REAL
malfeasance rest with the person who would appoint
Mr Pony to FEMA AFTER 9-11?
Isn't that sort of like appointing the local talent show judge
to run the Surgery Unit in a hospital that's just been
sued?
Just thinkin' out loud.

don't belong in the same sentence, EVER!
But I DO think you and I are on to the real issue.
WHO appointed Bozo the Clown to Fema and WHAT
does that say about the person appointing clowns
to "keep us safe."
Hmmm. now you've got me ready to ramble on
about the Roberts nomination to Supreme Court Justice...

8. Go for it!
I haven't felt safe since the 2000 election and certainly don't think this crew is capable of keeping us safe ... neither do I think they want to.

Thanks for the welcome. It's great to be here. :hi:

14. Well, pointing out that a COMPLETELY UNqualified horsey boy
was appointed to run FEMA, AFTER 9-11 probably DID
helpthe situation along a wee bit.
NOW, if only they would point out the
insanity of the other BFEE appointments, we might just be able
to get our country back.
I hold the majority of the Senate and Congress accountable too.
We need a RADICAL house cleaning before we can
even begin thinking about being America again.
The CORPORATISTS have overthrown every branch
of our government and the must go away now.

22. Being unqualified is the least of Mr. Brown's worries at the moment
I think he should consider lawyering up real soon.

It is coming out that they withheld assistance deliberately. Serious crimes were committed.

27. And yet, "serious crimes" seem to have a way of disappearing
under the BFEE dynasty.
Plame?
DMS?
Torture Photos?
Shall we just add
FEMA/Katrina relief
to the list?
Given our sychohant dem reps,
I vote "yes."

let 1000's of people rot, live on national television either. This is too big and it happened to too many people.

30. True, and if Bush insists on trying to tie Katrina and 9-11
then we might just want to tie thousands rotting in NO
with the DMS and the hundreds of thousands of civilians
killed in Iraq.
There IS a pattern here and it's foundation is
DECEPTION and greed, BFEE style.

to the people of New Orleans, that is just a small taste of what he's done to the people of Iraq.

13. Shocking? -- hardly, they thought removing him would work -
replacing all those in Fema with nothing more then polital backgrounds would at least show he's on the right road, but Bush/Rove are simply so stupid at this point they need to stop and gather themselves and there's no time as Bush daily is sinking like the titanic, will Bush jump ship?

16. He's too arogant and delusional to jump ship.
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 02:40 PM by BeHereNow
He's been kept in a bubble by Rove and the
handlers. He probably is stunned to learn that
the entire world despises and is repulsed by him.

Brown's retirement is NOT enough.
If your child attended a pre-school that hired a
pedophile, would the pedophile's resignation
appease your outrage?
HELL NO!
You want the person who hired him
FIRED.
BHN
PS: IN addtion, the person who hired the pedophile
is now suggesting John Roberts run the nurse's office
at the school.
OUTRAGEOUS.

and firing Brown is tantamount to Bush admitting that HE MADE A MISTAKE in hiring him. He needs to get rid of Brown to show he's in charge, but he can't fire him, so this way, everybody wins.

Kellogg, Brown & Root (Haliburton subsidiary) or Bechtel. I am sure his former roommate, Albaugh, will find a soft landing place for him.

Now they can say, "See, we ARE accountable." I think they should ALL resign.

If you Google "incompetence" this is what SHOULD come up:

As it is, when you Google "failure" you get this:
