I'm deeply disappointed with Nagin - he should have stayed a repunk - what on earth is there to laugh about

28. Maybe he's taunting Bush* with that bottle of clean water, and that's
why he's laughing. Hey a gal can dream, can't she?

I think they should pour up Bush* some sewage every time he gets thirsty.

17. Look of utter disgust
I recognized the look. I had the same one on my face, listening to that idiot GWB.

One of the gems Bush came out with was that he thought the Gulf region had "dodged the bullet" because he was listening to people (???) who said that the "bullet had been dodged." :puke:

14. I don't think he purchased it
but he did move his family there temporarily because they lost their home in the flood. He intends to stay in New Orleans by himself for the time being.

25. Right from the City of New Orleans Web Site...
Link:

http://www.nola.com/newslogs/tporleans/index.ssf?/mtlog...

and the text:

In a stark reminder of how drastically Hurricane Katrina has affected the lives of New Orleanians, Mayor Ray Nagin has purchased a home in Dallas and enrolled his young daughter in school there.

Nagin, who spoke with The Times-Picayune by telephone from Dallas, where he has been since Wednesday, said he plans to return to New Orleans on Saturday. He said he will remain in the Crescent City while his family lives for the next six months in Dallas, making occasional visits to his family when possible.

It's not clear where Nagin will be living: His home on Bayou St. John suffered massive flooding, the mayor said, although he has not inspected it.

13. Both he and the admiral looked unhappy and unimpressed with *.
Very telling expressions.

Meanwhile, Smirky was smirking away still, reciting his talking points -- we're moving on, yada yada yada.

Oh, and in answer to the question about race being a factor, * said, "The storm didn't discriminate, and neither will the recovery effort." In other words, since the Coast Guard rescued African-Americans (a point he made), race wasn't at all a factor in this catastrophe.

16. You could see his deadpan face reacting to the BS he was hearing
Especially when Bush was asked when he first realized that NOLA had not dodged a bullet. He claims he knew that Monday. Didn't tell the press he was licking cake off his fingers that day, and that he'd still be dodging the bullet the next day as he strummed the guitar in San Diego. It wasn't until Wednesday that he did a driveby in Air Force One.

Now he's riding on the back of a military truck driving through the French Quarter with Nagin and Blanco. Disgusting idiot.

19. I didn't see the press conf, but I saw him on video sitting between
Blanco and Naygin. It was pretty funny to see him surrounded by people he knows think he's shit when he's used to be around pre-screened audiences.

He looked tired and tense and looked like he had too much to drink last night. He looked like he was wishing he didn't have to do the hard presidintin werk; wishes Unca Dick would do that. He looked like he wished someone would take him back to the ship to be surrounded by people he thinks worship him.

I kept thinkint he looked somewhat smug himself. Was wondering if the fix was in and he was gonna help * blame it all on Blanco. I hope my perception was very wrong!

offered a really cushy position in Texas? I smell a rat here. I think he might have sold out. Have to wait and see!
