Pataki is an IDIOT...on Wolf now....
..NYC doesn't have an evacuation plan? Too many people? In his last breath...blames the local and state officials for Katrina's woes.

Geesh.

1. So he plans for us to all die?
Republican management: it's in God's hands. If anything goes wrong, God didn't like you.

2. Evacuation plan?
Have you ever given thought to what it would be like to try to exit a large city en mass? Horseback would be a possible option.

Displaced cities. A new America?

3. He's certainly got the Repub spin down:
Wolf if there had been better coordination between state and local officials things could have gone better but now's not the time to focus on blame ... people are still being rescued ... 911 Commission had 3 years to figure out what went wrong ... blah ... blah ... blah

4. He just said that "Democrats, Republicans, and Independents
should all hope that 'President' Bush has a successful second term". Is he insane? Bush's agenda is horrendously bad. Successful means the destruction of social security, both the program and in the broader sense as well.

5. Sidestepped the questions
and blabbed on with the usual lines. New York has an idiot for a governor. New Yorkers need your prayers.

7. Governor 'Only Show Up for a Photo-Op' Pataki.....
the only time we see him at this end of the state is for an opening of some new business or for an announcement that a new business will be coming, where he can be on center stage. Otherwise he has driven this state into the ground. Then we find out his wife has a potty mouth and was complaining because Donna Hanover was getting more publicity. He is the most mealy mouthed complete dud who ever got elected.

8. Indian Point Nuke Plant. Right next to Pataki's hometown, right near mine.
We do not have a viable evacuation plan. Believe it or not, the one that was drawn up was rejected by Pataki because there is no way, that the millions of residents that would be affected, could ever be evacuated safely. There is one parkway, miles from the plant, and some local routes.

Even though Pataki rejected it(about the only think I can give him credit for), FEMA studied it, and gave it approval. This is total bullshit.
