Some thoughts on this fourth anniversary of 9/11
As the dawn breaks on this somber anniversary, I am filled with the memories of that tragic day. I am reminded of the pure shock we all felt as we watched it all unfold. I am reminded of the unbelievable horrors of that day. I am reminded of the unity we had - not just as Americans, but as citizens of this world. I am reminded of the outpouring of support and sympathy we received from all corners of the globe.

I'm also thinking about how the Bush administration has used the horrors of that day. How they have used them to strike fear. How they used them to strip us of our rights. How they used them to lead us into an illegal war based on lies. How they used them to divide this country, ruin friendships and alienate families. How they used them to cause more unnecessary death of innocents. How they used them to cause the world to hate us.

I am reminded of how this administration has used the people that perished on that fateful day to carry out their own agendas. I am thinking about how their friends and families, left to try to pick up the pieces and move on with their lives, must feel when thinking about how this cabal has capitalized on the murder of their loved ones. How this group of thugs have used everything about that day and twisted it for their own benefit and profit. How they have disrespected those who lost their lives.

So on this day, while the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina is still unfolding and we're still at war with Iraq and Afghanistan, I am thinking of the wake of death the Bush administration has left since being appointed by the Supreme Court in 2000. How we not only are fighting against these thugs for ourselves, our families and our country, but for the memory of those lost. The lost who are used as propaganda tools for morally bankrupt capitalists. The lost who are used as sources of income for war profiteers. The lost who have become nothing but a fortunate statistic to these animals. To them and their loved ones I say - we will never give up that fight. Never.

9/11/2001 - WE will never forget.

2. "DEAD OR ALIVE"
What he meant to say was "FORGET AND DISTRACT".

But we're not forgetting. We're not forgetting ANY of it.
