I cannot seem to get the idea of cleaning the toxic...
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 11:02 AM by slor
water of NOLA by way of Thermal Depolymerization out there. I think this would be a good way to clean it, and a better way to process sewage, aside from the renewable energy potential. I have been hung up on by the screener for Jerry Springer, twice. And none of the organizations I have contacted, have even responded. Maybe it will not work, or maybe there are forces that do not want it to work. But we need to get the idea out there. I would like people to help.

On Edit: I had to get off the computer. Please, I am at work, so just copy and paste the words into "google" and you will see. TIA

1. What is Thermal Depolymerization?
Explain it here. Maybe others will help you find a place to get the information out to the powers that be.

2. I don't see how to handle the sheer volume of the contaminated water.
TDP would work, but it'd take forever to process all of that water and waste.

4. Jerry Springer
Well there's your first problem. Go to someone who might care. ;)

I read the wiki entry on this (had never really understood it). How much would it cost, and how long would it take to be effective in NOLA?

5. Well there is quite a bit of money going into NOLA...

more than enough to build several of these plants. To save the Gulf, it is a nominal amount. Put a WPA effort on building these things, and it can be done. Also use it for sewage processing for the city after and if, it is rebuilt. They need to showcase this technology, and this is the place!
