McLaughlin Group - McLaughlin on Bush's Case
I've been noticing that every time I catch the show - he's really been on Bush's case. A few weeks ago he had an entire show about auto safety and railed about SUV's and the air pollution casued by autos, etc.

I had always thought of him as pretty conservative...

1. McLaughlin cracks me up
I enjoy watching the show for the sheer pleasure of seeing him cut Pat off, insist that HE is right ("WRONG!") and his "BYE BYE." I just wish the show was longer - it seems so rushed.

Back to your point, yes, he does seem to be going after Bush - or at least he seems to be somewhat objective anyway.

2. McLaughlin ended one show with the phrase...
Make love not war :) I need to start watching again.

3. He has been on Bush's case for a long time
McLaughlin has been a very harsh critic of Bush. I'd watch his show more often if I could stomach that disgusting Bush brown-noser Tony Blakely.

5. They had Lawrence Kudlow on today - even worse than Tony
Didn't know that Kudlow was such a "whore." Luckily, Eleanor and Lawrence O'Donnell slapped them both down.

8. Ugh, you aren't kidding
That Kudlow is AWFUL! An uptight, prudish, know-it-all looking man! And hateful too. So glad Eleanor and the good Larry kept him in his place :-)

10. Notice how sick the wingnut pundits are looking these days.
Hooray for discreditation by association!

6. I often disagree with John but I do think he's a pretty honest guy.
I actually met him back in....argh, 1975?? or so in D.C. at the Hilton
in Georgetown. Had flown my boss, a diehard wingnut there for some kind of convention and we all met up in the hotel. McLaughlin was the first "famous" person I ever met...I thought he was kinda cool. My boss was disapointed. ;-)

7. He changed
He used to be on Bush's bandwagon but perhaps as Ambassador Wilson,
he's seen the light. He was horrible towards Clinton but if he's
against Bush now all is I can is great!! People are waking up.

9. He's an ex Jezzy (jesuit), they're pretty openminded and fair
Glad he's mad at dumbya.

McLaughlin himself has done some pretty weird stuff to staffers (making a female staffer smell a wet spot on the carpet) but I'm happy with him if he's questioning this loser administration.

11. That show is the best political debate show
I watch it all the time. McGlaughlin has seemed pretty liberal recently from what I can tell. He has been critisizing Bush a lot.

The people on that show are better than those on other shows. Pat Buchanan at least critisizes republicans sometimes which is better than a lot of the right wing, republican hacks who just tout the party line.
