Isn't lying on your resume about your credentials grounds for
being fired in the federal government. It is for state govt in this state. If you lie about you credentials for a professional job you can be fired. Any DUers who have been employed past or present at federal level know this?

11. Can any federal prosecutor just bring charges against someone?
Or, do charges have to be brought by a specific prosecutor in a specific court?

Time to charge this guy.

7. Isn't failing to vet that person an even worse crme against the people?
I'd say that the person who hired him have more blame. And you know who that is. W. The one who said Brown was doing a great job is incompetent because he gets to hire everyone in his administration.

Brown is a smokescreen to shield the president.

no matter how good you are. However, "Brownie" is a political hire, and the Bush administration has different criteria to determine job security. Incompetence=ok, whistleblowing=pink slip.

On edit: several bureaucrats were fired a few years back for listing fake (unaccredited online "programs") Masters degrees on their CVs.

They'll be more than happy to take my civil liberties away for the sake of security but then they turn around and hire people with out a comprehensive background check. Feel secure yet?

15. Folks, we employ these people, including Little Boots.
Time to demand a firing!!! Regardless of whatever approval Little Boots thinks he has to have the people of his choice at his beck and call, his employers hereby revoke that privilege in this case. He does not have our permission to have in his employ someone with so callous a disregard for the life, safety, and honor of this nation.

16. Not fully vetting is par for the course w/this administration
Brown should be fired mainly for his incompetence that allowed people to die! Same for the whole BushCo junta...tossed...outta here. Special Federal Election in January '06! If Bush and Cheney were to be impeached, (though I would prefer imprisoned), who would be the next in line to preside until we could hold a special presidetntial election? (my fantasy...No More BushCo!)

17. Lying is a necessary skill...
...if your resume isn't packed with untruths you shouldn't expect to work in the administration.

19. It used to be. I'm afraid we don't have a federal government
anymore. It's been commandeered and replaced by the PNAC. A poly-sci professor I know from our local college here, says that we have been governed by this shadow government out of the PNAC since * was given the office of President by the Supreme Court.
