Talking Points
Where can I get a look at the Republican Talking Points? Are these distributed daily? I think it would be great to expose these on a daily basis to the General Public. This would put a new light on their organization.

It was obvious that the last couple days they contained the words "Blame Game" at the same time they contained the message Blame Local and State officials.

2. I wish Democractic talking heads and pundits would just reply
"Lies. Death resulting". To every single issue they raise. And do it over and over and over just like they do.

3. I wonder the same thing. The new points today
in LTTEs of my local newspaper are that the local NO authorities PREVENTED rescuers from coming in! That is most likely because they couldn't get away with the lie about Gov. Blanco not asking for federal assistance, the doubt cast on anything that comes out of the mouth of FEMA head Brown and Bush's inability to splain himself.

My guess is that the RW gets its talking points from rw online bloggers, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly and the rest of the Fox liars.

4. I've asked about this many times. I've only seen once where they were
leaked, and published by Rawstory:

http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Exclusive_GOP_talking_points_on_Rove_seek_to_discre_0712.html

Read the article, and the "DCTalkers" memo from the RNC.

The Repubs must be pretty disciplined to not let these leak or be found around more often. Hard to believe.

5. David Brock's "The Republican Noise Machine" pointed out
essentially, the talking point starts with "The Drudge Report". That's the best place to get the points out to a wide audience. (Check to see if there are e-mail alerts from him).

(Also, you might want to sign up on the GOP web site to be one of their activists; I forget what they're called).

After Drudge dredges up the latest slimy attack, the "talk show circuit" on the radio gets the callers - Usually Rush Limbaugh, then Sean Hannity.

That's when it invades the late afternoon/evening cable talking-heads attack.

All the talk then becomes what everybody is talking about, and it makes the papers as "fact" - usually with no research other than what the White House has prepared since they notified Drudge . . .
