Let us never forget one thing that I was reminded of tonight.
Our Fearful Leader was able, somehow, to pull up his socks and jet back from Texas in the middle of the night some time ago, to sign legislation that cravenly sucked up to the Fundie Right Wing, in that Terri Schiavo fiasco.

But when an entire American city was drowning he sat on the beach in California for two days. Then it took him another two days to make that arduous, grueling trip from California to Washington, in his private Boeing 747 with all the comforts of home onboard. He was tired, poor man, from all that beach-sitting and guitar-playing in California, and needed to rest for a night in the middle of his journey.

"Blame game?" Who was it who treated the agony of New Orleans (and the rest of the Gulf coast) like a game?

Not us liberals.

Let us never forget.

1. You're absolutely right, Redstone.
We need to keep reminding everyone of this fact. Every time they try to redirect us, we should keep bringing the Schiavo legislation up.

2. And he was able to secretly manage to fly to Iraq to bring some fake
turkeys to the people he's slaughtering troops for a big photo op in Iraq on Thanksgiving, after he heard that Hillary was going to Afghanistan. Managed to move that one pretty fucking fast, didn't he. And that was to another country!

4. Christ, I'd forgotten the plastic turkeys!
Thanks for the reminder. Another illustration of his priorities.

6. That he does. He takes more vacations in a year than
a lot of us get in a lifetime.
