Wouldn't it be great of the WH reporters all stood up and walked out
on Scottie...or showed up just long enough to state they're tired of the WH evasive non-answers, ridicule and outright shaming when they are trying to get real answers, and then, as a group, walk out?

What a moment for the Freedom of The Press that would be!

10. Why walk out?
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 07:59 PM by Autumn Colors
Because it would be on video ... on CSPAN for all the world to see. Oh my God. Jon Stewart would pee his pants for a clip like that!! :)

If no one showed up, they'd just cancel the conference and make up some excuse (lie) why it was canceled. Not quite as effective as them all leaving .... and basically turning their backs on them.

3. Yes, I agree
Not showing up would be great, but would it get press/air time?

5. I'd rather them "sit in" until BUSH comes out to answer questions.
And I'd much rather see elected Democrats do somthing creative like that.

6. Yeah, I've hoped for that.

But what they REALLY need to do, is start reporting honestly -- that is, negatively -- when this Administration is obviously obfuscating and lying. And they MUST STOP echoing WH press releases, sans analysis.

It's one thing to get mad at Scotty, but a whole 'nother thing to begin reporting WH coverups and lies.

8. I think I would rather see them
show up, the first question be "Well Scottie, are you going to lie to us today, or finally tell us the truth?" Ask him a question and as soon as he starts spinning, or lieing, then walk out saying they weren't going to waste their time today .. and then they can report on themselves walking out of the press conference.

9. Won't Ever Happen
This media and their Corporate bosses would not do something like that. They worship Shrub and his administration too much, and even if they begin to grow a brain, they would not want to take a chance missing scottie saying something important someday.

I watch them, and wish that one of them would basically say what that guy said to Dick today. But they're Wimps and Sell Outs!

11. I'd enjoy it if they gave Scott the ole Animal House Delta treatment
Everytime he gives an answer, a cough of *BULLSHIT* from everyone in the press. :P
