How do DUers protect the evacuees from further abuse and neglect?
It appeared that they were going to try to send the evacuees to straight to dent ions camps but the evacuees had other ideas and the media covered the worst and those are now gone.

,,,But yesterday a worker in Houston said that they got mostly women, children and old men from NOLA and nobody knew where they had taken the men to yet. There are up to 40,000 dead in LA and they have been playing shell games with the evacuees. So how on earth do we. Hundreds of NO police and 2000 postal workers not accounted for.

They are trying real hard not to let anyone count the dead particularly in NO or identify them. Has anyone heard differently on this yet?

They managed to get some people, foreign nationals and other non-black folks out of NOLA secretly before the evacuation started. (They talked.) So they could have gotten everyone out.

So we still have the people in charge who left those people to die and just may want to finish the job. How on earth do we keep track of what is going on?

Is Boing-boing back online?
